Quantum Control Instrumentation

TQS provides a full tool kit Quantum Control Instrumentation, including Arbitrary Waveform Generators (AWG), Digitizers, and Amplifiers. Experiments are simplified by taking advantage of the latest RF Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) and Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) enabling direct to RF or Microwave pulse generation. An innovation in this type of instrument control is called Arbitrary Waveform Transceiver (AWT) combining transmit and receive functions in a single unit, tightly coupled by user programmable FPGA. Programming is simplified by using the TQS Real Time Decision Block Architecture allowing fast feedback control of Quantum Systems.

Qubit Characterization

Qubit Spectroscopy, Rabi Oscillations, and Relaxation Time are all key measurements required for the correct characterization of a Qubit. Tabor Quantum Solutions (TQS) provides hardware and software solutions to make this characterization intuitive and effortless.

With direct to RF Arbitrary Waveform Generation (AWG) tuning to the correct Qubit frequency is simplified, eliminating the need for IQ Mixers, expensive microwave synthesizers and complex correction/calibration procedures. Programming is easy using the TQS Qubit Characterization
API, which is compatible with all popular programming environments including Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW.

Open Source FPGA Architecture

Advanced Quantum experiments can be realized by using the TQS Open Source Shell FPGA environment. The experimentalist is no longer bound to the manufacturers pre-defined feature set of control instrumentation and is free to implement a system suitable to exacting requirements RF DAC/ADC, memory and data transfer control of the complete instrument can be programmed by the physicist.

Complex algorithm realization is achieved by long gate sequences and multiple Qubit lines. The Proteus Quantum Control System can be scaled up to hundreds of channels enabling many Qubits and has both real time perimeter based pulse creation, combined with a deep memory, providing industry leading programmability and control.

Nuclear Spectroscopy

For both Nuclear and Atomic Spectroscopy applications, the Tabor Quantum Solutions Spectrometer can provide a significant upgrade to existing measurement systems. The ability to create very long pulse trains combined with deep digitization memory give orders of magnitude improvement in resolution.

TQS can extend the capability and life of Varian Spectrometers by reducing the complexity of the control electronics and utilizing the existing magnets and high power RF amplifier.
